Andreas Matsas holds an MSc in International Securities, Investments and Banking from the University of Reading, ICMA Centre UK, a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex, and an LLB Law from the University of London.

He holds the Advanced Certificate of Professional Competence issued by the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission and the Certificate of the American Institute of Banking. He is also a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.

Andreas has 11 years of banking experience with Societe Generale Cyprus as a Corporate Relationship Officer in the Corporate Finance Department and as an Account Manager in Private Banking and International Business Banking with Eurobank Cyprus.

Over the last 4 years, he has been involved in the financial services sector and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Investments Firms (CIFs) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as Executive and Non-Executive Director.

Andreas was appointed to GMM’s Board of Directors, as an Executive Director (4-eyes) in March of 2019. He holds the position of Portfolio Manager and he is responsible for the management of funds following real estate and private equity strategies.
